Adding my info and Dilse's #

Thanks, Manny. When I was making the list, I wondered if you have received the doc request email. But I think I missed your post. It's good to hear you got one.

To all:
Please add your timeline/info to the list anytime. I'll try to keep track of the timeline-related posts in this forum and keep the list updated, too.

You might have received an email from AINP notifying your file number. Application date is mentioned in that email.
It doesn't matter when you mail your application to AINP. In my case I mailed my application in first week of Feb 09 but still I have to stick to application date which AINP declare in  "confirm receipt". Abstract from AINP email:

"This is to confirm receipt of your AINP application on March xx, 2009."

Hi us_to_ab, thanks for the clarification. In this case then my AINP application was received in March 2009 so I fall under the new process.

Best Regards

Hello Gautamkate,

Even though you were old process did your full application reach AINP before Feb 19th or after Feb 19th?Huh?

Chinga Cowa Banga

I really don't know what you mean by full application. Reason I say this is since they sent in my "file" which got pre-assessed in November 2008 and my invitation came thru in Feb 2009. After that I sent all the rest of the documents to AINP which was submitted by March 2009. So depends on what one considers the application, the docs sent the first time in November 2008 or the docs sent AFTER the invitation in March 2009.

Best Regards
Gautam

Gautamkate,

As per AINP your full application should have reached them before Feb 19th, but as far as pre-assessment candidates are concerned I don't know if AINP would accept it as the date when they first received the application, I guess November in your case. You may want your Lawyer to confirm this

Hello Chinga,

Correction, it should be November 28th, Saturday.  I got nomination letter by mail.  When I posted the message I forgot the date, so I checked the date in my computer but I didn't realized it passed midnight already.

Hope that is clear.

just wanted to share this info. I applied using the old application process in feb 2009 (approx). Got the application number in april 2009 (approx). Then a long gap. I got many emails saying that nomination is given only for those who have job offer. But two weeks back  i got an email from the anip program officer asking if my family and job status has changed. I replied to that and then within 5 days got the AINP nomination by mail!. Validity of the nomination is for 6 months.
