What's your last 4 digits of your application ? Also you said you applied on March. Does this mean all applicants who applied on Jan / Feb already got their nomination ?
I'm a new comer and greatly appreciate any help.
Thanks
You'll find forum members' timelines (appl date, file#, NOC, etc) in this link: http://tinyurl.com/AINP-Tracking-System. No one has received nomination without job offer for almost 6 months and some Dec/Jan applicants are still waiting for nominations. No applicants under new process (without pre-assessment) have received nomination (except job offer cases). But some of us received email or call from AINP this week, so they may start issuing the nominations soon. But it seems that those who received the email or call from AINP have non-IT NOC codes, so I'm trying to find if any one with IT-related NOC received the similar email or call. Anyway, we are not sure whether AINP issue nominations to applicants based on application receipt dates or select applicants based on their NOC codes.

How many members have received the email or call indicating to issue nomination? Can you put your file number (part of it) here, so that we know whether it is only a single case or AINP starts to stick to their timeline.

Looks like Application numbers have reached beyond 5000 (Last 4 digits). Do you know how many nominations they are going for every year? I mean do they have any quota for H1-b AINP nomination ? Thanks

Guys
I have applied for ainp on march 9th and received file number on June 30th, after receiving the nomination I changed my employer but my NOC code remains the same. Should I notify this change to AINP. In their FAQ for H1b it says that the changes should be notified following nomination.
Does it mean i should let them know the change only after nomination ?

I remember someone in this forum called AINP and he was told that there's no quota for H1-B SRS. But this program started in the middle of last year as a pilot program and only 500-600 applicants have received nomination under this program so far (The last applicants who received nominations had file number 06XX, so it is just a rough estimate). Hope AINP will issue more nominations since the file numbers have already reached 5000+.

Just to let you guys know that one of my friend also got a call yesterday and was asked for additional documents so that they can send nomination. I don't remember the NOC but he applied as a financial auditor. his file number is in 1200 range.
Looks like Alberta is hand picking people from the list.

Guys, Following is the e-mail I got from AINP yesterday,
"We are currently processing your application. We require the following updated information/documents: · A copy of your most recent pay stub · A copy of your current and valid H1B Visa or I-797 Notice of Approval · Details regarding any changes to your employment situation (i.e. new job description) · Address update, if there have been any changes · Details regarding any changes to your family composition Please send both documents by business close November 19th, 2009 via email or fax to my attention, quoting the following file number: 7913-09-1989. Regards, XXXXXXX"
They have only given me a day to respond, fortunately i have everything handy and I responded yesterday itself.

Looks like its picking up. Although I applied on Oct 1 2009 ( 48 days so far and counting.....) I assume the process rate will increase as I hope the # of applications were reduced after May 19th. And I applied as 2242 NOC Code not an IT one. So I might get file # by January 2010 as also I dont see any one who applied after May-June in this forum.

Does 2171 falls under IT Code ? Also did not they remove all IT related NOC code back in Mayof this year. Right now there is nothing for IT related fields (AINP) . So there should not be that much IT related applicants right who are waiting for nomination? Thanks
