Calling will not change their mind about issuing nominations, they'll only issue nominations if they want to. And until the economy gets better I'm pretty sure there'll be no nominations.

Guys I called AINP today, they have received "high volume of applications", so they dont have no time to issue 1 nomination.

I really dont know why havent they shut down the program and stop taking further applications (and stopped fooling people and wasting people's money) if they dont wish to issue any nomination. Maybe they are looking for some free fuel and collecting paper applications to burn in fireplaces and prepare for the upcoming Canadian winter.

Can I ask, What is the significance of the last 4 digits?  Do you know some way to interpret the file number?

Can I ask, What is the significance of the last 4 digits?  Do you know some way to interpret the file number?

The last applicants who received nominations had file numbers 06XX (last 4 digits). And the ones applying under old process (with preassessment in 2008) are receiving smaller file numbers than the ones applying under new process around the same time. So, some of us in this forum believe that sharing not only the application date but also the last 4 digits of file numbers may help us understand how AINP is processing our applications. (All applicants are receiving the same first 6 digits, so they are not significant.)

If you open our "AINP Timeline Tracker" (the link is attached to the signiture box of my messages), you will see everyone's application timeline including application date, last 4 digits of file number, and NOC code. I'm asking people for the timeline info because I am assisting in managing this timeline spreadsheet.

Unfortunately, AINP seems to have stopped issuing nominations (and maybe even file numbers), so I haven't seen many people posting their timelines here recently. But I hope the timeline info will help people in this forum undertand the progress of AINP application process.

Just a thought

Please use this thread to post your Timeline for H1B - PNP Certificate Receipt after the File Number Receipt. This will give some indication about the processing speed

Example:
File Number XX-XXX-001 received on 01-Oct-2008
PNP Certificate for the above received on 01-Nov-2008

This will definitely help those who are expecting the Certificate

Hi,
I got my file number 3 mounts ago but I did not receive my PNP Certificate yet
