Hi Frnds,
Did any April applicants received file number what happened to april applicants.None of them are receivng file number these days

Anoop

It seemed that there were two groups of AINP officers: the one issuing file numbers to Feb/Mar applicants and the other issuing file numbers to Apr applicants. Maybe the officers who issued file numbers to Apr applicants are now working on nomination certificates for Jan/Feb applicants. (Hope thay are not taking a vacation)

Dude first all march applicants shuld get file numbers and after all april applicats should get file numbers then after we can think about nominations. Its not like u got file number and immediately u should get nomination.Wiat for some time dude

Anoop

Exactly guys... I think march applicants should get the file number... then april... lets atleast think it an orderly fashion...

And also you got to take a long vacation after u get the file numbers... So bother so much about it guys...

Jasper's opinion appears realistic - The officers working on Apr applications finished early possibly because there were less no. of applications in Apr compared to March? Let's hope that they start working on issuing nominations as well soon.

Hey, anoop. I think you didn't get what I meant. Some April applicants started receiving file numbers before March applicants. That means some AINP officers were working on Feb/Mar cases and some were working on Apr cases. Now no one is receiving nominations (Jan/Feb applicants should be getting nominations now!) and AINP seems to have stopped issuing file numbers to Apr applicants. What does this mean? So I thought the officers who worked on Apr applicant file numbers are now working on preparing nomination certificates for Jan/Feb applicants. What do you think?

Hey, Anoop.

AINP should issue file number in the first 4 months and then issue nomination certificate in the next 4 months (this applies to all applicants). There are applicants who received file number in January or February, and they haven't received their nomination yet. Those applicants have waited longer than 4 months after file number, so don't you think they should get their nomination by now? (This is the idea of "AINP processing time" which everyone shares in this forum.) They definitely don't need to wait for May/June applicants to receive file number before they receive nomination certificates.

Having sent applications in December 2008 or Jan 2009, and as nearly 8 or 7 months have passed from then (and remember when we applied, the timeline for nomination was 40 to 60 days after file date), I guess some of us wanting to see it may not be entirely unreasonable.   Imagine your own case in December 2009 - would you not be eager to see your nomination??
