You must have valid H1-B visa when AINP issues your nomination (because you applied after Feb 19). Sometimes AINP asks for documents like recent pay stubs and employment verification letter in the middle of process. In your case, since your old I-797 (or H1-B stamp on your passport) shows the expiration date of your current H1-B, AINP will ask for more documents later (for sure!) and you will have to give AINP the documents.

Hope you'll get (or have already got) your H1-B extention!

Good Luck!

Don't worry, iAlberta.

AINP says "Any applications postmarked on or before May 19, 2009 will be assessed based on the previously posted list. All applications postmarked after May 19, 2009 will be assessed based on the list currently posted."

So, it depends on postmark date, not receipt date!

Congrats, McLuvin!

Could you post your last 4 digits of your file numbers? (The "XX" in the file number you posted is the part everyone wants to know most...)

Sorry dude, but the last two digits are useless to the people on the forum.  If you are ok with it, please post it in this "??XX" format.  The reason this format is requested is - people are more interested in knowing the number series 12xx or 23xx etc, this gives them an idea of how many applicants are in queue.  But this is entirely up to you.

Cheers,

Candidate File Number:  7913-09-XX22
