Alright guys, the truth is out....
Processing times Please refrain from making status inquiries once you submit an application. Responding to status inquires delays the processing of your application as well as processing of applications of others. Make sure all documentation is complete and included with your application to prevent your application being returned to you or other unnecessary delays. If you want to ensure that the AINP has received your application, you may wish to send your application by registered mail or by courier. Processing times can vary greatly due to the number of applications being submitted and the completeness of the applications received. Currently, the AINP is experiencing a high volume of applications in all streams and categories. Approximate processing times are as follows: Strategic Recruitment Stream processing times for U.S. Visa Holders U.S. Visa Holder CategoryProcessing time Notification (pre-assessment) Up to five to six months Candidate assessmentUp to four months Total AINP processing timeUp to ten months

Even with this said, the timeline for assesment is upto 4 months. According to this, the preassesed applications should receive their nomination by end of this month early next month.

Hmm... 10+6 =14 Well looks like Alberta knows what they are getting, which would explain the delays :) Relax folks, things should pick up soon given that the number of apps flooding their office should go down rapidly after the May NOC list. Cheers, thats just great.... this fast track option is going to turn into the slowest track option.... im not happy at all!!

Thanks for sharing the info with us...But due to the recent flood of newbies with information like this and file numbers the credibility of such info is lost especially when it comes from a newbie. I guess people are not going to beleive this until they see the update in AINP official website. I know what is going to happen next...To make this info more trustworthy, we will see some more posts saying that they also got the same kind of response for some inquiry...And we all know it comes from the same person with different IDs.

On the Alberta website, it says the site was recently updated on July 7th, but the processing times still remain at 4 + 4 ~SA

If you have a file number, you can get that updated by calling the AINP office too. I did the same to change my primary contact number as my home number changed.
