DB A, Congrats! Nothing against you personal, but man I'm disappointed with AINP that they are issuing April apllicant File numbers before the March applicants whick kinna sucks. Anoop,
I got my file number on July 08. Details are in the new spreadsheet that vsrao created.
Sava, You too will get the file number. Don't worry. It is just a matter of time. AINP is kind of random and you know that very well. I don't know what the criteria or pattern is for issuing the file number as I see a lot of March applicants didn't get their file numbers. Maybe there're processed in a different office. My frnd I am really frustrated dude.My application received AINP on april 23rd 2009.Till date i havent received any file number and i saw in one of the forum that a MAY application received fle number yaar what kind of precessing is this man.I am really reallly pissed offfffffffffffffffffffT.This posting is not against anyone frnds but its my pain and Agony.Sorry if hurt anyone Anoop |

Yeah DB A it seems to be so, the lady I spoke with over the phone other day also kind of suggested that all April applications are being handled from a different office. Didn't understand it then but now looking at the trend it looks like they might have diverted applciations from April to a different office. Which is why April guys are getting their file numbers faster. Lucky for you guys. Sava,

Nothing is final until anybody gets the nomination. Even after nomination one has to clear the final CIC hurdle as well. When we send an application they assess it based on what we wrote in response to their questions, again this is just my guess. Based on our responses some people might have got their file numbers sooner than others, other factors may be that the applications are processed by different officers in same/different offices as well.

Hey Anoop. I saw the post (a May applicant received file number), too. But now the post is gone. I don't know whether it was removed by the user or by the moderator. So, that info might have been false. Like Ell.bee said, sadly we now don't know who to trust... |

Bruno. is a fake id. Borat. received nomination on Wednesday and Bruno. received a file number on Thursday. Both are fake ids, created from movie names 'Borat' and 'Bruno' produced by Sacha Baron Cohen and he is also the actor in the movies. Funny movies, but not a place to impersonate the characters on the forum. In short these were fake reportings. Yesterday Bruno. received file number though he applied in May. Can someone please answer my questions.
i have sent my documents to Alberta PNP (h1b) in APRIL 2009 and i have recieved my file number in JUNE 18 2009.
1) Does this mean that my pre-assesment is completed?
2) The next thing what i can expect is PNP Certificate?
3) Approx. how much time it may take to get PNP Certificate after getting file number?

there is no pre assesment for application sent after Jan 1st 2009.

nobody here knows. we are all hoping for September as per someones discussion with AINP officer that they have commited to the ministry.
3) Approx. how much time it may take to get PNP Certificate after getting file number?
as per their website 4 months

Guys think about this. In the last 3 days, there were ID's like Borat., Bruno., Lethride.Redneck, Dushant, Gollapally which came up and have disappeard. They claimed to either have got nomination or file number on their first post. There are two or more which have claimed file number today, I dont want to name them while they are active, you can see for yourself. Also the AC/AG have stopped posting. My guess is that AG/AC ID has been blocked and the attempt to create the new ID also is being controlled by the moderators. This is my guess from the pattern of posting and last active time. I need help from serious posters on the forum to report anything suspicious to the site moderators 1-888-947-9445 or email sysadmin @ canadavisa.com Also VSRao has put in lots of efforts to compile the list of applicants. We need to go by that and report anything suspicious to him and have him take it off the list. Use your own judgement before you take any advice on this forum as not all you see here is the truth. Hopefully we will get rid of this thrash soon. |

Alberta100h1b, Getting the file number is kind of equivalent to completing the pre-assessment. Effectively you have covered the first 4 months wait time by getting the file number. 1) Does this mean that my pre-assesment is completed?
there is no pre assesment for application sent after Jan 1st 2009.

I was looking at the trend and looks like no nomination has been issued for applicants who applied after January 15th. It's almost like the nomination process has come to a standstill!!!!
