I think 100% all the dependents gotto get state PCC's and fingerprintings. Of course .... me being the primary applicant .... all kinds of certs and reports for me are required .... I was just confused about my wife's PCCs and FBI reports from US
Oops ! i missed "Spouse" word in the below line "1st is you need PCC for your as well which I am 100% sure of" it should be 1st is you need PCC for your wife as well which I am 100% sure of.

i have seen a couple of people get denied. I think the reasons were: specifying a city outside Alberta on the application to settle down, job duties not matching NOC.

As i remember there are two cases who got rejected by AINP with the below email content. "Your file has been reviewed, and it has been determined that your education and professional experience are equivalent to a Business Methods Analyst (NOC 1122) which is not included in the Regional occupation Under pressure list. As a result, you cannot be considered eligible for the AINP Strategic Recruitment Stream at this time. Please note that decisions with respect to the selection of Candidates are at the sole discretion of the Province of Alberta and are final; There is no appeal process." As per HRSDC website 2171 (systems Analysts & It consultants) usually have degree in Computer, engineering or related field. Consult here: http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/english/NOC/2006/QuickSearch.aspx?val65=2171Check this thread http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t14653.0.html

I know a guy wrote Toronto instead of any albertian city so got rejected.
That is right, there was one rejected for having written Toronto, and there was one more who made the same mistake, but realized it and decided to notify them about it. Not sure what happened to that guy.
