Hi ,
Finally i got the nomination.Actually i got it on May 11th.

Now anybody knows how to get police certificate from Dubai.
i got some info like they asked for Notarized fingerprints, if i m getting my fingerprints at Police Station in Los Angeles than how can i get those fingerprint notarized?For me it means it become notarized when the police stamp is there......its kind a silly question but i m getting this difficulty.
Can anybody help me out in this please.

1 with app date of 12 and other 3 with date of 20.

If all of you noticed, the pattern is following file number recd date...

not necessarily, not to a T anyway.....
in a general way of speaking yes... but then the same can also be said about the application received date.
too few data to make any definitive conclusion

Hopefully, they will issue the nomination certificate for January applicants between  July and August!!!I can't stand live in here... anymore...

Looks like AINP is moving little bit faster now a days. The file numbers they are issuing is random. Therefore, its hard to predict what file numbers they are proccessing currently.

ainp received application = 01/19/09, No pre-assessment
I contact ainp on 05/13/09
got email with file # today (i.e. 05/21/09) suggesting that email was sent with file number on  03/03/09 to me though i not received in my email box, don't know why.
file number = 108x

I applied on the 6th of March and contacted them on 18th May.

I got a reply yesterday that my 4 month wait time for preassessment is still not over, I should wait and should hear from them whithin the specified time frame.

So I continue my agonising wait...

I see that people who are getting nominations letters now (Jan - Feb applicants) were actually approved a month back per the date on the nomination letter. So AINP mst be working on applicants who received file numbers in March-April or may be a decision has already been made on these applicants, just that AINP has not yet mailed them. Just my 3 cents!!!!!!

You really can't do anything but wait..
I tried sending emails and also called them but nothing worked.
You just need to wait for your turn.

Shyli....Congrats!! You seem to be the pro who can guide newbies like us. Can you advice on the next steps once we get the File number from AINP?  Thanks a lot.

Has anybody else observed this or is it just my assumption that only people who went through the pre-assessment process are receiving nominations no-matter how late they send in their application. So, are they first going to issue nomination to all the people who are going through old process (no matter how late they apply) and then start issuing certificates to people who applied per new system?
Does anybody have any idea?

The order of issuing nomination certificate seems to be consistent with the order of issuing file number. I can see that they are now issuing nomination to those who received their file numbers in Feb (and no one received file number in Feb under new process as long as we know). We probably need to see how the ones with Mar and Apr file numbers will be processed in order to see the pattern of process priority.
