Finally received my nomination on the 14th! The last four digit of my file number is 053X.

Now senior members, I have questions regarding the PCC, and your help is greatly greatly appreciated:

1. For the PCC from home country, I have one as of April 2008 and I haven't left US since 2006 -- do I still have to get a new one? I've seen different answers in this forum so just want to confirm. Has anyone had any luck in sending older-than-3-month PCC and not being rejected at CIC stage?

2. For US state PCC and FBI report, are they neccesary now or I can mail out the CIC package to Buffalo without them while obtaining these? I didn't see this requirement in Alberta's instruction & tips, nor was it in Buffalo's checklist.

Good luck to everyone.

Hi ,

I was legally separated at the time I had applied for the AINP.And my divorce was pending in the court.Any ways I had put separated in marital status.

Now I'm legally divorced from court. So,shall I inform them about it or I can leave it like that and In later stage of cic process I can change it to different status Huh

I had not put anybody as depended at the time I filed for AINP , as I was aware of future judgment.

I don't want to delay my process. My file number if 9xx.

I would need some expert kind of opinion here.

Thanks,

Although this question can be better answered by people who have already applied for CIC process, but I would suggest to get a new PCC. You home country might take less time for it this time since you never left US.

For now you can mail without PCC and then add PCC later on when you get them.

Again, please share the date on the nomination letter. Good luck for CIC process....

I think you can just leave it and update during your CIC process.

Thanks Mike053. It will be a pain for me to get the PCC again and that's why i was asking. I really hope someone who has sent an expired home country PCC can verify if it works or not...

Regarding the date of my nomination, believe it or not, it was end of March! They apparently had quite a backlog so it took a while to mail out the nomination even if the decision has been made long time ago.

Finally received my nomination on the 14th! The last four digit of my file number is 053X.

Again, if anyone had the experience of using older-than-3-month PCC from home country and was accepted by Bufallo (got a file number), please share here.

Mine was dated April 2008 and I am hoping it will work. I'm sure this has become an issue for lots of folks here as nowadays it's taking longer for Alberta to process the applications.

I started the list a while ago and many folks have taken and modified it, all with good intentions. The best will be for you to repost the list after adding your info.
I note that I've progressed up the line quicktime! That's coz the result is sorted by app recd date. I'm not complaining and hope that's the pattern of noms!
Good luck to all.
