If decision has already been made, in both cases, acceptance or rejection, they would've contacted me via email atleast, so I am not even sure that they are working on the file number issuence either.... Well whatever the case is all I care that for me and all of us the process is quicker... maybe they need to hire more staff or some smart IT solution, sice this programm's main charm was that its "VERY FAST" ......

It seems like AINP office is making things complicated on weekly basis. I got my application delivery confirmation for Dec 31st, but haven't recieved any response from them after that, except for that file number email. I have seen a couple of guys getting some kind of response e.g. paystubs, and they sent their application a little after me, so hopfully I'll get some inquiry soon. I thought of updating you all with nothingness on my side in case anyone was wondering... Smiley

Because your file hasn't reached the table of Senior Program Manager who will ask the question (pay stub/status) and make a decision.

Or because decision has already been made.

so it is not "VERY FAST" compared to the US PR process, right??? It has been what - a whopping 3 months since they received your application? patience buddy... you are next in line. the last reported nomination was for file # 517, receipt date mid-december.

anyway, they don't contact you via e-mail regarding the disposition of your application, always by snail-mail.

As soon as i get my Nomination approve i am going to apply for job in Alberta Immigration Service department as head of IT and build system where people can apply online and check status of their application online. This will help us to reduce man power and each file will be accessed faster than ever. Smiley

See Mr Sarcasm, I never compared US PR process, instead I was thinking about other canadian provincial programs or CIC federal processes. I started initially in August 2008 (preassessment stuff) so it is going to take more than a year for me at the end... (one more post to go Smiley )

Wow, what were you doing in between August and December? I sent my very first e-mail to AINP on November 3, and mailed my AINP application on December 4. I got nomination letter on February 12. You surely cannot blame them for the delay on your part. Had you mailed your package even a couple weeks earlier, you'd be sitting pretty with your nomination right now. Smiley

Hi Bibo,

you need to contact the AINP office and inform them of your change in status. They will instruct you on what papers to submit so that they can provide a new nomination certificate to you and CIC. I've read somewhere that it takes another 3 months to get a new nomination certificate. i tried looking for it but this forum has just gotten so much bigger! LOL

Good work, Manny. Sorting by 'Appln Recd by AINP' would have made more sense to me though.
