RedStar,

As per AINP any applicant who sent application after Feb 19th need to maintain H1B status at time of nomination. I am not sure how AINP is considering old process applicants. You may want to contact them and confirm with them

AI:
Good to hear! Did you receive the certificate in the mail already or did you get email confirmation?

BTW I too got email request for documents similar to what others have received. NOC 2171.

Received nomination yesterday.

Timelines:
Sent Pre-assessment: Dec 08
Sent Application: Jan 09
File # received: Mar 09 (File number 6XX)
Email received asking for more details: last week
Nomination received: Nov 25

Yes, I got the email last week and i sent the documents same day by email. Yesterday i got the nomination by post

Hi AI,

So you mean to say that you got the nomination just after a week of sending the documents? This is really fast. In the past those who received the nomination, it took around 1 month to reach them from the date of issue.

BTW Congrats ! This give new hope to other applicants.

Thanks,
L.B

Yes you are right. I lost my job and am back in my homecountry of Peru. I have my PHD in MEMS specialisation, but have been taking care of my grandfathers farm. I heard most of the technical jobs are in India and China nowadays. Infact I gave up hope with the AINP program and applied for jobs in India. I am in the final round of interviews with a couple of  companies based in a city called Bangaluru. I too got request from AINP last week for documents and I told them that I am no longer in H1B status. I hope they consider me as  my application reached before Feb 19th

Hi to All,

One of my friend got his nomination letter this week. He got it in on the verge of loosing his H1b.
His details
Old Process -File Number 640's - Noc 2171. Though he was old process they asked him to submit his paystub and h1b approval two weeks back.
He is planning to go back to India....so not sure where he his going to do the Federal part.

I also got the mail to submit my recent paystub and H1b approval.
