For the documents which we need to send to CIC, you should check this website: http://www.cic.gc.ca/EnGLish/pdf/kits/guides/E37048.pdfIt is Visa Office Specific Instructions for Buffalo and you should use it as your checklist. As you can see on the list, no educational documents are required for Privincial Nominee (AINP has already done this part!). And many of the documents that you'll send to Buffalo are copies, not original, but there are documents that need to be original, such as Police Certificates and Clearances (PCC). Let me know if you still have questions.

No, sadly I haven't sent my application to Buffalo yet. My nomination was approved last month, but now I'm still waiting for my PCCs. I have collected all documents except PCCs, so my plan is to submit my CIC application to Buffalo late January or early February (as soon as I receive PCCs). Good Luck!

Dear All,
New guy here -
I got my nomination in November 09. I applied for PCC (states, FBI and from India). I know states are not required but i just applied in case.
I also came to know that i need the birth certificate.
I applied for PCC (for India) and birth certificate at San Francisco Consulate. Do you guys have any idea how long will it take to receive these?
Thanks for your help.

Unlike FBI and PCC report. Birth certificate donot have to be current , You can use old one (Copy will work)

I came a cross this electronic service for FBI fingur printing. They are saying it is faster. Did anybody used similar service for FBI? Here is the text from their website:
Qualified FPI fingerprint technicians use their expertise in Live Scan fingerprinting to provide clients with quality fingerprinting services and submissions.
FPI's quality assurance program insures compliance with FBI standards of classifiable. Fingerprints are submitted electronically for significantly faster results. Our cutting edge technology captures fingerprints via live scan systems and prints them on FBI #258 cards. FPI can also convert card prints to a digital format
Anybody know will this be accepted? Please advise... They are saying it is faster.

Hi All, There is one Acknowledgement Paper with the nomination kit, which needs to be sent back within 30 days.
Address to send this signed document is not given anywhere.
I will appreciate, if someone can let me know the address where I need to send this acknowledgement paper after signing it.
I'm guessing that I need to send that on the address which is given on the right top corner of the acknowledgement paper.
Am I right??
Thanks, Wasi2000

I wrote "Buffalo, USA" in the box. Since our nomination letter specifically tells us to submit our application to Buffalo, there shouldn't be any problem writing "Buffalo" in this box.

It should be faxed to AINP. The PN Acknowledgement Form says: " TO: Alberta Immigration Nominee Program Fax: (780)427-6560"

Well.... I filled up the application at Indian Chicago consulate......they asked for two separate application one for PCC and one for birth certificate.
Chicago consulate doesn't have the question on its miscellaneous form,so dint have to answer "IS APPLICANT REGISTERED WITH THE CONSULATE GENERAL? IF NOT IS A MEMBER OF ANY INDIAN ORGANISATION? GIVE DETAILS'
