Hi Guys,
I have also applied for FBI clearence but didn't hear anything back from those guys
In the meantime I was working on my CIC applicaion. One quick question if someone really know about this.
I have 8 months old son who was not born when I applied for AINP. I got my nomination in Jan'10 and it has me and my wife name on it. Now, I am little confuse; shall I show him as 'Accompanying member' or 'NonAccompanying member' because his name is not there in the nomination letter? Thanks for you help
Did you get any email from AINP about doc's requests before the nomination... in that they will certainly be asking about family changes if any... If not, email AINP and convey the message. |

I had the same situation. I contacted AINP asking them to send a new nomination with my son's name on it. They responded that they can not re-issue nomination certificate and have notified CIC about the changes to the family composition. I should include my son in the application. You must notify about the changes to family to AINP so that they can update CIC on your application. |

i m guessing u did not recieve any email from AINP before nomination else u would hv updated info about your son already. there is nothing to worry abt just inform AINP(fax /email with ur file no.) then wait for their response.... if nothing within couple of days -try again before u send CIC application. Also when u send CiC application....do write a letter regarding this change with all info abt your son. |

I wrote AINP file update and my nomination number on the envelope iAlberta - How did you send your PCC's to CIC... Did you mention any reference no. while sending these?

My application reached FBI on Dec 9th & Last friday 2/19 my MO got cashed. Looking at others posts I believe it will be 10 days to get the letter after fee is charged by FBI. This is the last document I am awaiting for mailing my application to CIC I think the members who applied in January and have already received FBI checks are very lucky. Hello IAlberta
I got mine too last Friday.
Also, I've already sent my application to CIC and the cash get cashed.
Is it better to wait until they request them?
Please advice.

The jinx applies when anything is filed in the month of December  Many of us who filed for AINP in Dec 2008 got stuck until Nov 2009 to get the AINP nomination! And now whoever applied in Dec 2009 for FBI is stuck ---- I hope not until Nov 2010! Best of luck. My application reached FBI on Dec 9th & Last friday 2/19 my MO got cashed.
Looking at others posts I believe it will be 10 days to get the letter after fee is charged by FBI.

My credit card was charge on Feb 11th, so far I have not received anything yet. My application reached them on 12/7. I called them yesterday and they said that I am still under their timeline, now is 12-14 weeks....... no more information was given....... Hope this helps. Regards |

All,
I haven't send my application to CIC, BUFFALO yet, Wants to send my application all at once when I receive my FBI report (The last document waiting for)
Following is the time line for my FBI report.
Sent on Dec 14
Cashier Check cashed Feb 12
FBI Finger prints Still Waiting (Based on other members should receive with in 2-3 weeks after they cashed in)
I have one questions for all members, Does it make any difference whether we use Cashier Check or Credit Card for payment?

We both are sailing in the same boat henceforth thought of writing to you. I sent my request on 17th December to FBI. received by them on 21st, as per the UPS tracking number. I called up today at their office in the afternoon and had a chance to check on my status. They confirmed the receiving on the 28th December and confirmed one week to expedite. So keep the faith and hopefully next 10days more!!! |

Allright.....hang in there everybody.....Dec. applicants for FBI should get their certs anytime.
I received my FBI certs today.....MO cashed on Feb 19th....mailed out on Feb 22nd......I received it today Feb 25th.
My application received at FBI: Dec 9th,
Date of receipt shown on certificate: Dec 18th
Certificate Date: Feb 22nd
I will try to mail out the application to CIC by this weekend.
