I got GBP Bank Draft from Bank Of America.Still didn't get police certificate from UK.If you are applying ask them to send it through AIRSURE by paying additional charges.

I have one question to others that who send the application with out FBI,how you are going to send FBI reports to CIC as you don't have any reference number to refer.

I applied to FBI on Dec7th and got reached to FBI on9th Dec .But I am still waiting .Can't guess any reason why it is delayed in my case other who ever send after 7th got them

I am planning to submit application to CIC.
Just got my PCC directly from Chandigarh, India. Because chicago consulate timeline was 60 - 70 days and huge hassle

My PCC is from Dept. of Home secretary & SSP office, Chandigarh INDIA
It is addressed to Consulate of Chicago...instead of CIC...since that is their standard protocol....
It states that no criminal record found or pending ....OK to issue PCC....standard verbiage..

Should I submit this to CIC ??   Any members think this might rejected by CIC since it is not addresed directly to CIC.


Please guide

did you tell the police authorities of your home country that the PCC are for Canada immigration?  if you had told them probably they would refer them.

That's the reason when I called CIC, BUFFALO LAST week they told me to send complete application only (Including FBI, HOME PCC) so not to have any delayed in AOR

Hampshire Police Office usually sends the police records within 10 days. considering the postal time both ways, it should be less than a month. Send them an email and they wiill reply back. let us know what they say.

Re: the FBI letter - it takes 12-13 weeks.  We applied on Nov 23 and only got them Feb 13 (using priority mail).  As for the claims on the forum of folks who sent their FBI app in mid/late-December and already got their certificate - I'd take it with a fistful of salt.

The bottom line is we have to include FBI along with other application documents when we send them to CIC, BUFFALO. Else it will only delay AOR .

CIC, BUFFALO will only issue AOR once they received full documents. The only thing they told me we don't have to include this time is US State PCC.

Virgo -  I was refering to nomination validity only and is mentioned in the nomination papers. Yes, you can send it within the given valid time.

All,

Looks like AINP Nomination is good for 6 months from day of issuance, So even if FBI takes 12-14 months, we should still be good to submit all required documents to CIC, BUFFALO all at once to get AOR on time.

Reading from senior post, looks like there is a very - very slim chance of having FBI request for new finger prints.

That's the reason I think why CIC, BUFFALO is asking all applicants to send all documents at once, rather than sending them separately for example FBI results.

Anyone from the forum have applied for Australian Police Clearance?
I applied recently and the Australian Federal Police (AFP) returned my application indicated that the bank draft issued by Bank of America was not
valid for the application due to the fact that it was not affiliated with the Australian bank.

If anyone have any experience sending the money order (in Australian dollars) or check for AFP, please share your experience.

Hi folks,
I was looking at the required documents and forms for CIC filing. I dont see anywhere where CIC wants copies of the birth certificates/marriage certs/passport to be notarized. Is it enough if we submit photo copies without notarization? Can someone tell me if I am reading the reqts wrongly?
