hi all

I am residing in florida. so should I send my application to the indian embassy in Washington D.C only or can I send it to NY too.

Have any one of you applied for PCC Indian Embassy in Washington. Do you know how much time they usually take now a days? and do they have an expedited option

Thanks

check out the NY consulate site ..   http://www.indiacgny.org/
and look at the right hand side of the page under Juridiction: Connecticut, Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, and Virgin Islands are mentioned... i dnt see Florida there... so i think u might better send to Washington.  Am not very sure though!

Hi All,
I was reading the following forum regarding FBI clearance timelines. Looks like it might take a while to get the ceritificates from the FBI.

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/fbi-clearance-in-us-t30136.90.html

Does anybody now is it possible to send the CIC application without FBI certificate for now?

Thanks...

That's what I'm gonna do, and send the FBI reports whenever ready, even before AOR.
I asked a lawyer, he said CIC will not turn an application without FBI, and they will request it later.
The fear is what if FBI requests a new fingerprints card? That means i have to waste another 2-3 months. PNP letter will not last forever.
Good luck everyone

It appears the delays mentioned in the other thread is for folks who are applying for FBI clearance from outside US. I am hoping that the timeline for people applying from US is much shorter.

Has anyone checked with CIC Buffalo if we can send CIC application without FBI clearance? Thanks.

Hi All,

I was really surprised and happy to receive my Indian PCC today from Indian Consulate, Houston, TX (less than 20 working days) . Following are the details of my PCC applications

Florida PCC - Appl sent 12/23, Reached 12/26, PCC recd on 01/02.
Indian PCC - Appl sent 12/23, Reached 12/26, Recd call on 01/07 regarding reason of request for my husband's application, could not contact them by phone or mail (though I had attached one cover letter stating our names and the reason), but still PCC recd on 01/14.
Missouri PCC - Appl sent 12/23, Reached 12/26, Rejected due to wrong format of fingerprint card, Re-submitted on 01/07.
FBI PCC - Appl sent 12/23, Reached 12/28, No record in database yet.

I am really hoping to get my Missouri and FBI PCC soon.

Good luck to all of you.

Hi all,

I have a birth certificate copy notarized in 2000.  Is it still good? Or it has to be recent?  Thanks.

Brother,

when u take a xerox copy and get it notarized the notary verifies the copy with the original and certifies it as a true copy.

So once notarized its good. it does not expire with time .

the

Birth Certificate copy does not need to be recent. Only Police clearance certificate (FBI, State) should be recent (At least 3 months)

Thanks
