Guys can someone help me undestand this

Hello there,
I got my AOR from CIC Nairobi yesterday but a bit confused and happy at the same time. i spend four months in the dark over this. i applied in March 12,2009 and they received it on March 30th 2009.
MY stuff  now in eCAs says  that processed started in August 4 and they say in the AOR letter  that no processing will occur in my file for approximately  six months. thats just an estimate. what does this six month period without processing means? and really what happened  with the first 4 months since they received my applications?? do they count or they just go on waste??  when do i expect my medicals to be done and how come some in the forum usually talks about the AOR with medicals at the same time?? and when do i expect this whole process to be done??

the 6 months can be from the date the letter was issued. check the letter date for that. for the benifit of other fellow applicants can you please write the exact wording of the letter on the forum.

yes,may be depends on consulate to consulate ,But AOR along with medical form from CIC buffalo but your's CIC Nairobi.
