In most cases they do, if your academic track is good and your proposal get eye from a supervisor. Otherwise you can guess.
Two things
1)   Academic merit
2)   Research proposal with supervisor interest, so first contact faculty member in Uni's you like.

I have BSc and MSc from UK results are (am PhD Finance)
1) BSc   84% (canadian eq)
2) MSc   89% (Canadian eq)

got full funding.

Most of the good schools like Alberta, Waterloo, UofT, UBC etc. offer full funding if u get admission.

Hi !

I'm a french student and I spent a year in Canada fro a student exchange program. While preparing my trip, I discovered a website on which you might find useful information on several universities in Canada: http://beta.gullivearth.com/en/guide/student-life_12/1910/canada.

I hope it will help you to choose a university Smiley
