Thanks guys for all your good wishes. On air fare, so far Lufthansa+Aircanada combined option is coming out cheapest at usd 900 from Bangalore-Toronto-Bangalore. Another relief is that I can prepare list of goods to follow separately for each of the dependants when they land as we are not landing together. This removes the stress of ensuring everything required is included. After landing I can make more research on what is required and what is not and then update my dependant's "goods to follow" list on a later date.
