I was recently granted a working visa- supposedly to be employed by a canadian Manufacturing firm. However, I learned from the employer that they are deferring my deployment due to economic slowdown. I was told to wait and I have been doing so for the last couple of months and frankly, I am not sure if this will still hold water. I am at a loss on what to do next. having that visa stamped on my passport is nice but what should I do with it? Anybody with the same situation?
