Hi,

I completed & gave exams for my BSc degree on 10-12 December 2007 and received the results on 26-2-2008. The graduation ceremony will be held sometime in June/July 2008.

I applied under skilled worker category and sent my simplified application on 19-1-2008.

I am confused as to when i should treat my degree completed? when i finished my exams? When i received the results? or When i will graduate? Is this a problem for my application?

Please advice.

Thanks

i dont think is a big issue....in my opinion, after completing your exam,
Very soon, your school will sent a letter to inform you that u have completed your degree
and will also let you know the date of convocation.....you can use the date of the letter as your date guideline.

It sounds like your application indicated you completed your degree even though you hadn't received the results yet.  That's kind of a risky approach.

If I were you, I would ask the school when they consider you to have completed your degree.  Usually, the degree and completion date are also listed on your transcripts.

If there are questions about your degree, CIC will use one of those two methods to determine when you finished.
