But did you submit same medical information sheet that you received for work permit with PR application package?
No as one I did back in India before coming to Canada on WP was expired. SO I did new one and submitted it.

But one thing my spouse did medical for WP last year and when CIC asked me for spouse's Medical for PR I submitted same eMedical receipt. We did not do new medical. I listed my spouse as non-accompanying on my PR file.

Yes . for OWP i sent upfront medical with application and after few weeks, when i got Medical request for my PR application (with IME number), i submitted the same upfront medical report to NDVO as proof of medical examination by email, and by web form also. it is already 3 weeks but there is no response/no update on my file. I am not sure they accept it or not. Plz advise me.

Almost same here, Medical is about to expire (in First week of January), Background Check still not started.

Really unable to understand the reason for the delay, as they have also mentioned on their website that once you have been selected by the quebec province then only Medicals and Security checks will be done. But this stage is taking abnormal time:eek::eek::eek::mad::mad:

Generally upfront medical should be sent with your application package (Not when VO request it). When VO send you MR they also generate some kind of unique IME number in system and when you go to Clinic if they are equipped to see that number from their system. I know this because when I did my upfront Medical clinic was not able to find any IME number and they explained me why.

I would suggest you drop an email to CPC Ottawa just to get confirmation on Medical has received or not and whether its valid or not.

My Medical was expired on 19th Sept 2017 and got DM on 6th Oct 2017. Note: I was Inland applicant so they might just have extended my medical result's validation.

QSW
Dear All,
Quick Question please......ONLY for those applied to these conditions:
1- CSQ holder
2- Applied for PR as inland applicants
3- who were post-doctors in University and manged to have position in a company

I'm trying to find an answer that can suit my situation as LMIA exempted under the A75 code, but I cant find

How you can answer the following question if you applying to extend your work permit
Question 1:Which situation best describes your work situation?
Answers:
1. I'm working under an international agreement
2. Im eligible for a work permit through an active pilot project
3. Im a provincial nominee certificate holder
4. Im an entrepreneur/ self employed
5. I'm the spouse or common-law partner of a foreign student or skilled worker
6 . religious worker
7. Im on academic exchange , conducting research or taking training
8 Inter company transfer
9 . None of the above

If 9 is chosen ---- you must answer the next question which does not have LMIA-exempted option

Question 2: Do you have a Labour Market Impact Assessment issued by Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC)?

Answers: Yes - No, or No but my employer requested one.

Thanks for your response

I chose the 2nd option:
2. Im eligible for a work permit through an active pilot project

I was not directed to the second question, but in the required documents, I have been asked for the
IMM5802 Offer of Employment to a Foreign National LMIA-Exempt

Which is good as I think..........

Please correct me if I'm wrong in that

Thanks

Exactly they might have validated the expired Medicals, but i don't think that outland applicant's medicals will be valid even after one year. So, in other words CIC guys are playing with our time, money and sentiments as well.

Furthermore if we will have the Decision made by the end of this month then will we have only 2 months to complete the landing formalities or will be asked for the re-medicals.

I think you need to choose 3. Im a provincial nominee certificate holder
Maybe there is a better link but http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/temp/work/prov/index.asp it directs you to read about CSQ holders and LMIA exemptions.
