How soon can I get a mortgage in Canada after arrival. I intended to arrive with my family but I will be shuttling my country for work while family stays behind. Considering this financial standing ,do you think I can be considered for mortgage by the banks if I can prove to them I earn this much. Thanks

I have an annual remuneration equivalent to about 150KC$ Considering this financial standing ,do you think I can be considered for mortgage by the banks if I can prove to them I earn this much. You can get it as soon as you are ready with the down payment. Almost all banks in Canada have new comer package, the first thing you would like to work on start making your credit history, that is by opening a bannk accont and getting credit cards. Its good to have atleast 3 -6 months history before you apply for mortgage in order to get good rates!
