Hi to all in the house. Good to see this thread.
I just received the PPR email and a bit in a dilemma situation, please advice me.
I was requested to provide a passport of 12 months validity within the next 30 days to Abu Dhabi VO.
My current passport expires in 10 months, and my home country won't renew passports with more than 6 months validity.
Even if I get to convince them that it is an emergency, they can't renew it within 30 days.
What should I do please?
I just planned to submit the passport with 10 months validity with a cover letter stating the above reasons asap.
Is this a good idea or i should start making arrangements to go back home and lobby my authorities to get my passport renewed?
Please someone tell me something.

Hi All

I have collected UAE driving experience certificate from RTA on last April 10 2016 and the validity was 1 month from the date of issue.

Now i landed in Toronto , Ontario last week and i am planning to submit this experience certificate along with my original UAE driving license to UAE embassy Ottawa for attestion.

Does that validity will cause any issue to get attestation from UAE embassy here .

Please note that i left UAE cancelling my visa on April 13 2016.

Last four month i was staying in my home country before moving to Canada.

We are trying to decide if we should sell all our stuff here in dubai and buy new from canada or cargo some of the items. What I understand is that things are more expensive in canada. If anyone can share their experience with the cargo from dubai, that would be great - in terms of price, TAT and so on.

--Minus all the electric appliances bcz of 110 volts
-- If you know where exactly you are going to live in Canada that furniture make some sense otherwise its an over head. I say some sense because even in furniture , you need to minus wardrobes as wardrobes are built in Canada by default.
-- You should take all kitchen items minus white goods. Do not leave a single plate !!! White goods comes fitted in every house.

I received e-mail from LVO asking me to provide my Labor card along with UAE no objection certification which i dont have any clue what is this NOC and from where we can obtain the same.

Just had a quick question for people who have applied fbi pcc from the UAE. Does anyone know how much time does it take the package to reach UAE once dispatched by the fbi? Below are my details.

Package recd by fbi: 26th of Jan 2017
Cc charged: 24th of Feb 2017
Report generated: 10th of March 2017
Report dispatched: 14th of March 2017

All this info was provided by fbi call center and yes they were kind enough to tell me that the fps went through.

Our Permanent address is in Mumbai .Any suggestions?How come there is a variance in the number days for different applicant?

Hi guys .. I have an unusual problem. I am planning to fly in july/ august to canada from dubai while my wife continues working here and son going to school here. They will probably land by march before our medicals expire. Problem is that the tenancy contract and the dewa is in my name. Can I give an authorisation to my wife to close it and get the deposit refund?
