Am new to this forum..I came to know about this forum very recently.One of my colleague told me about this forum and he have high praise for the
1)Am planning to land in jan or feb 2012.But i came to know that its winter time in canada and it would be very cold.If i land that time,i've to do all the initial formalities like bank account,sin,job search etc in those hard climate.So i would like to know IS JAN A RIGHT TIME FOR LANDING???
2)Am a tool and die maker by profession and i have 8 years work experience.
HOW IS THE JOB OPPURTUNITIES FOR TOOL AND DIE MAKERS IN CANADA??
3)DO I HAVE TO GET A CERTIFICATION TO WORK?4)Am planning to land in Toronto.
IS TORONTO A RIGHT CHOICE FOR TOOL AND DIE MAKER?5)
WHAT WILL BE AN APPROXIMATE PAY FOR TOOL AND DIE MAKERS?

I hope someone would clarify my doubts....
I read some of the topics in this forum and i learned many new things.It was very nice to read few landing experience.....I wish all success and happiness for those who are in canada and for those who are on the road to canada...

let me add.
1. Jan /Feb is really hard weather for landing, completing the initial formalities like bank account, sin, not a big issue few hour job and all transportation system (buses, subway) have the heating system, But job search will be difficulties in winter for newcomer. Better to land before month of Dec, or In May.
2. Job opportunities and salary scale you can check on
http://www.jobbank.gc.ca/intro-eng.aspx3. It is not regulatory occupation, but some health and Safety certificate is compulsory to obtain, most of employer are responsible to arrange and will be paid by employer.
4. Same as # 3.
5. Minimum pay in Ontario is $10.25 per hour, you may calculate your pay at :
