Got UCI number with new file number different from CIO - Need Help

hello everyone,
i applied from pakistan and first AOR recieved in Nov 2010. i sent my document in Jan 2011 and now i have recieved my 2nd AOR saying that you have new file number (UCI number) mentioning that it will take 12 months maximum for decision.
my question is, is this 2nd AOR?
i moved to Dubai in Jan 2011. do i need to update them about my job now and also provide bank statements if required.
what is the way forward in this case?
what document do i need to start preparing?

would really appreciate your help on this as i have just updated my address so far though my job has changed completely.

Hi Yoboy,

When was your application received at CIO? I merely want to clarify if you are a Pre or post Jun 2010 applicant.

If you received the letter from your VO, then consider it as your AOR and provide reference of the # as mentioned on the letter for any further communication with VO.

It is always advisable to inform you VO for the changes in JOB, address or family composition. Your VO might contact your previous job place and not find you....not a good thing to happen as he will not be assess your job details thereby impacting your application adversely.

It does not matter if your new job is COMPLETELY different from the NOC's of MI list. VO should be informed, nevertheless,at any cost.

should i mention my new application number starting with B to visa office or UCI number?
as i can see my online file with UCI number but not with new file number starting with B as it says its not valid number.

so in this case you suggest that i should send them my copy of
1-job application letter
2-job confirmation letter
3-new bank statement
4-resident visa page for UAE
5-address change
what else do i need to provide with this.

Add reference letter from your current employer with Job duties, salary, hrs/week, dt of joining. The reference letter should be on letterhead with details of the employer contact #, website if available, email ID etc.

As you have just joined this new company you may hesitate to let your present employer know about your plans to relocate eventually once you get the PR...in that case the reference letter is not required but you will have to politely explain in your cover letter, the reasons of not providing the Reference letter from the current employer. Mostly people explain by stating that they fear to lose their job or their job might be in jeopardy.

Use the UCI# for correspondence with your VO. Check the CIC website of your VO for any update on the address. Bank statement is not mandatory at this point (as you must have send the statement earlier) but you may attach it anyways, if you have it.
