Yes I'm a US passport holder so I guess I fall under the visa exempt situation and can send copies.  Instructions stated to send copies of all pages so I will go ahead and do that instead of the actual passport. 

Sorry a weird question, if you are American, why did you apply for Immigration?

hmm.. I'm from a visa exempt country too, but didn't get the option to send in photocopies...

If you don't want to photocopy all the pages in your passport, I would at least photocopy all the pages with any stamps on them + the biodata page.. I think on the application guideline, that's what they had requested for as well? I can't really remember

Ummm, because I wanted to immigrate to Canada? American citizenship didn't allow me to live and work in this country.

Sorry a weird question, if you are American, why did you apply for Immigration?

Congrats! I just finished my medical exam last Saturday.. I hope I'll get my PPR as quick as yours.. lol Thanks for sharing.

When was your application went in process.............. i just want to compare, my ecas shows started processing on March 29..........gor MR on March 30. Medicals done on april 6.

Lol, thanks for da explaination .. i though there was some sort of an agreement between the US & Canada to allow thier citezins to live & work in both countries with no conditions ...

no COPR yet, though i just got my payment and passport copies off the to consulate last week.... so dont expect anything for a couple more weeks. I think most people say three weeks turnaround?
