Hi,

I got medical examination form last week, I have taken an appointment with doctor.
Do I need to send any documents to CIC office from myside.

After the reading the application form, I understood doctor will send documents directly to CIC.
Apart from these do i need to send any other documents.

Where can i check my application status, I got IMM1017 form with photo on it .

hi

first of all congratulation for medical request

the results of medical examination will sent by DMP (ur doctor ) to ur visa office directly , not by u
if ur V.O asked for any other documents or RPRF , this you should send it by ur self to the V.O

you can check ur application status on e-case web site

https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do?app=ecas

but usually there is no changes in ur e-case after V.O received medicals
but if they didn't contact u after 1 month , then ur medical is O.K , and u will wait for PPR

Good luck

Thanks for your quick response,
What is a file number, Where can i find in my application.
There is nothing specifically mentioned in the document saying that it is file number. That we can check the status with that number in online.
I got some labels with Barcodes and there is some number mentioned in it,
Apart from that number there are two other numbers on other application which has photo pasted on it.

so, I need to keep that IMM1017 ( that i received for medical examination) with me , Not to attach any documents  and send it back to the CIC.

Please guide me on this information.

file number is a number attached to all corespondent from ur V.O
it start with B follow with 9 numbers , like B123456789 , the other 2 numbers are unnecessary
the form IMM1017 , u should give it to your doctor , he will fill it then send it (NOT YOU )

how to use the cic site to follow your case ?

go to this site

https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do?app=ecas

then follow this steps

1- Identification Type:   choice immigration file number
2- Identification Number:  your file number ( B123456789 )
3- Surname/Family Name:  ur last name only
4- Date of Birth:  exactly as u write it in ur application
5- Place of Birth:  Place of Birth

then press continue

good luck

Thanks for the information,
My doctor didn't take that application from me.
He asked me to fill some applications at the time of Medical examination.
After that he gaved it back to me.

Please let me know , If I am missing anything.

3. I applied Under US H1B category.

Thanks

sorry my friend

I don't know the rules in ur category ( US H1B )

but in FSW- Canada immigration , medical examination has the following steps

1- u receive the medical request with IMM1017 form
2- go to DMP doctor
3- take medical history ( any old diseases , surgery , hypertension or diabetes ,.....) and u will singe on it
4- do some medical examination ( listen to ur chest and heart , abdomen  , .... )
5- some lab tests ( blood for HIV , syphilis ) urine exa.
6- chest X-Ray

thats all

then he ( the doctor )will send all this results to your visa office , I didn't hear any one send his medical results by him self

good luck
