Hello! Everyone,
After such a long wait i got my Medical request & Passport request. Well, its still with my Consultant i have to get the documents from them. All i need to ask is how much is the Landing fee & when are we supposed 2 pay that? My spouse is the one who will be travelling with me & also if anyone from Mumbai, India can give me brief details of how Medical is done & approximate cost for two it will be of great help.
All the best to everyone & wish you all a great New Year & hope all of us c the new year in Canada.
My timelines are as follows: -
INitial application sent : 11th Feb'09
Application received by CIC : 23rd Feb'09
Full documents sent: 23rd June'09
Full documents received by CIC: 7th July'09
Medical request received: 18th Dec'09
CIC Office: New Delhi/ India.

congrats on that.
RPRF fee is 21440 per adult and medical costs 2400 per adult. about a DMP in mumbai, anybody who got it done from mumbai can advise u better.

Congrats!
I am also from Mumbai. I did my medicals at churchgate with Dr. Jahanbux. He charged Rs.4000 for 2 adult+1 child for physical examn. Further, I had to pay for Blood and X-ray separately - that was around Rs. 1700 I guess. It was quick and easy. Blood and Xray centre was also in churchgate close to the clinic.
I had raised RPRF draft in CAD to avoid any exchange rate fluctuations.
I have just sent my passports and RPRF to CHC, ND on 28/12.

My NOC is 0111
Well, I have been advised to go to Dr.Palia at Kemps Corner, Mumbai by my Consultant. She said it will be 2400Rs/ person. My only concern is about the negatives of the photographs they need as the Photo SHop people aren't issuing negatives. Any advise for diet plan before the Medical Check up? I am taking an appointment for the 2ndJan for me & my wife.?

I did medicals in kolkata and negatives are not required here. I think it is same in india all cities. best way is call ur DMP in mumbai and ask him.
For getting negatives, I got it from a small city, they don't do it now a days but you say to any photographer that u are ready to pay for full film cost, then they will do.
