got medical done on 26th november still no response from CHC... ????

Embassy is closed on 25th for Christmas and 26th and 27th is weekend again and 28th is a holiday in lieu of boxing day(26th). I hope we get the decision when the embassy is open between 29th and 31st. Gud luck

i applied in april 09 and got my visa on 28th aug, and my classes had to start on 8 sept, so ull get it near class i think

         I will update u if any...... anyway today i again call karachi counsulate .... they told me that Embassy will remain close only on 25/26 and will work rest of the days.............

I am frm India. I went to VFS today to find out how long does it take after you submit your passport after medical. The reply was dissapointing They said it could take 15- 20 working days.

My classes start 11th Jan 2010. So might have to call college to get an extension for may be 10 days if dont get passport by jan 1st week (thats wat my agent suggested).

Also dunno bout consultate in pakistan but the VFS centre i went to today had a notice pasted stating 25th till 28th all VFS and consultate are closed.
