Got employment letter..what to do next?

Hi

I recently got an employment letter in Kamloops British Columbia, Canada.
What do I have to do next?
I have been in Kamloops as a Visitor since 2004 visiting closed friends and currently I am in Canada as a visitor and my visa expires next year March.
Could anyone assist me what do I have to do? If i have to go Seattle for my work permit what is the possibility of my work permit getting rejected? I am from Singapore..I am debating if I should go back home or pursue this job and goto Seattle for my work permit. Any solution?

Your employer needs to get a labour market opinion (if your situation is not exempt) before you can apply for a work permit.

 wht i ve understood from ur post ,tht u r in canada ,since 2004 , on visit visa. .How it can be possible, i mean visit s for 6 months n can be extended for 3 months only.so how did u manage to stay for almost 3 yrs on visit visa. And can u plz share ur experience tht how did u manage to get a job offer.Also is it easy or possible to get a job offer from an employer while on visit.Any suggestions or advice ll be highly appreciated.

1. He's from a visa-exempt country, and each extension was for 6 months (not 3).
2. He got a job offer by talking to employers.  Unfortunately, a job offer doesn't mean you automatically get a work permit.
3. It is possible to get a job offer while visiting, but the job will most likely require a labour market opinion before you can get a work permit.  And employers usually don't want to bother.

I have been offered job but have had a negative LMO returned.My prospective employers did not fill in application correctly detailing my experience properly.Is there any challenge I can make to them..or can my employer challenge or re-submit the LMO?

The employer can submit another request.  The previous one can't be contested.

Hopefully your employer will do a better job documenting it the second time.
