I found a job in Dalhousie University and my employer agreed to sponsor me work visa. But I have no idea what else is required.

I am from Russia and finished my grad school in USA and on OPT right now. I have been in USA for about 4 years now.

To get the work visa do I need to get

1. police certificates from USA and Russia or PC is not required?

2. medical before I get visa?

I am was wondering about these because my employer said he is expecting me for April and if I need these I wont be able to get them by that time. particularly PC from Russia takes for ever.

Any light on this issue is greatly appreciated.

Thanks very much.
