Dear all,
I recently received the medicals/PPRF/passport request. I have sent the medicals, RRPF and just about to send the passports for self and family. I received the call from CHC and they told that they have received the medicals and RRPF and asked to send the passports asap.
Is this unusual and what could this imply (getting call from CHC for passports)

congrats.. i think you have not send yr PP immediately after meds... so that yr meds & RPRF reached to CHC & they are about to stamp on yr PP ,so they called u up..it is exceptional but happens... no worry... btW what is yr processing start date & meds received date.. pl share... HONEYJACK  |

u r first who received call for such thing, may be they r doing some verification by call. how they introduced on call? what they exactly said.?they ask any other things? |

They didnt asked any verification questions. Just for passports. Introduced by stating that they are calling from CHC ND and are awaiting for passports. u r first who received call for such thing, may be they r doing some verification by call. how they introduced on call? what they exactly said.?they ask any other things?

Honeyjack ok it is 4131... mine is 30.03.10 & docs submission is 30.4.10, I just recd processing date as 11.01.12 u r waiting since last year this is amaizing... my friend whose FTD & docs submission was same like u, has cleared interview & got VISA in Nov,11 now he is in CANADA... (just for info) |

Hello bhaji I just want to know whether there were other people also on this forum who had similar timelines as you and had to wait such a long time for MR, like you did, after getting "in process with actual date"? I was so hopeful to get MR in few days, since my status shows real in process recently. But I feel so discouraged to see your case. |

its very strange that you got med after so long after ur status came as in process woih actual date of processing....
i m april 2010 aplicant from newdelhi...recently my ecas status started showing processing date as jan 27,2012.....
does that mean i have to wait for 9 to 10 months for medicals.....can anyone pls comment...........

yea.. u r correct, usually applicant received meds request within 4 to12 weeks ,you must have showed specific reason like expected baby etc.. to CHC that's why they issued u meds now...my FTD is 6 days after u but i have submitted my docs immediately in April,10 though i received processing date in Jan,12& no sign of meds... No way there are two types of processing The first one has rrcevied by visa office details The second one shows the actual date For the first one u must wait for a long time before the second one surface |
