Narinder,

I applied in June 2008. I submitted my complete application in March 2009.

on 20th April, I received same letter as you have received. I've completed medical exam and sent Passports and RPRF last week.

My question is when you check your Ecas, What status it shows?

In My case, still it is "In Process".

Please inform me about your Ecas status ASAP.

Regards,
Harman

yes Narinder, we are sailors of same boat. I sent My passport and RPRF on 6th May 2009.

Again i request you to intimate me when your status willbe changed from "In Process" to some new one or when u'll get some updation from CIC.

One thing more Narinder, When you click on "In Process", does it say "We started processing your application on _____" ? Or does it mention something about medical results like "We received your medicals on _________"

In my case, its "We started processing______"

Its again same "We started processing your application on ......................" Medical results were just sent last week. I think it will take some time to actually reflect the medical acknowledgemnt on estatus. Lets see how much.. Plz update me in any such case.

Narinder1981, your case is too too good to be true. Please elaborate, how can cic receive your application and also respond in two days?
Was it local visa office or nova scotia. If local visa office , which visa office? How did you send your application? ie personal delivery or courier?
How was response sent to you from cic?

babutv, we all are here to help and share information and since this platform has given me the good opportunity to share my extraordinary case why shoudnt I not do that. There is nothing too good to be true here. I am a normal applicant as others and might be the first one going in final stages. Its not like I need to make anyone belive its just apprizing everybody the progress of my case.

Hi,
Proof of funds i.e bank statements for last 2 months were sent along with other docs to local CHC. This link will give you exact amount: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp
Yes RPRF fee is 19900 per person.
