Hi,
I have not received any response to my query till now from any senior member.
My problem is:-
I have submitted all my documents, passport etc on 21/05/09 after our medicals on 20/05/09, as mentioned above & resent a new RPRF draft because of misspelling on 04/06/09 to CHC Delhi. RPRF draft cashed on 18-06-09. I am still awaiting a response from CHC Delhi regarding my PR and passports.

My sons have received approval from Windsor University and other International Universities but we cannot proceed without the passports EVEN for student Visas.

My consultant in Canada is Dr. Sarabjit Kaur of Futureways immigration Consultancy, Toronto, ON, Member CSIC.
On consulting her, she said not to mention anything regarding admission to Windsor Univ. because then CHC Delhi might think that we are taking PR because of our SONS STUDIES in Canada.
Should I contact the Visa office & explain about my sons with the letter of acceptance from Windsor University.
This has put me in quandary regarding my future course of action.
PLEASE ADVISE whether my informing the Visa Office about my sons admissions will help me or put my PR in jeopardy?

Eagerly waiting for your expert guidance,
Thanks,
EYEDOC

Hi eyedoc1966

as per forum here, people got their passport back in 3-4 weeks.. so wait for 1-2 more weeks and u should get it

meantime u can find ways to delay admission process by 2-3 weeks, if it can be done

hi jashan,

Your case is different one. Its a big setback since you always expect stamped passports and getting that without stamping is like barren lands. But you neednt worry as your are still in queue. Its just delayed.

Hi guys,
today I have got PCC from local police station.
but the policeman over here told me that I also have to apply for PCC from passport office as well.
So is it necessary to apply at both the places or PCC from police station is enough?
Please guide me,

guys/Narinder,PMM,AANban,
What is difference between simple notary and notary with red stamp?
As in Narinder's case I also have my transcripts for my degrees so I am just planning to notorised it.
I read somewhere about simple notary and notary with red stamps which is costly somewhere about 100rs per copy.
When I asked a person in local tahsil offic for notorised copies he told  me that it will be 200 rs for notaring all copies.
And I have read some where that for each copies it takes 10 rs so has he understood it properly?
And do notary advocates write when attesting as it was mentioned in Immigration guide?
Please seniors ans me,

everything needs to be translated. In India, go to any court and talk to a notary. he will guide you to someone who can translate

Hi

Received a letter from Canada High Commission in Delhi asking for
1. PCC once again
2. RPRF
3. Birth Certificates for family
4. Medical

Surprisingly they have not asked for passports. Any reasons not asking for passport while they are asking for RPRF and medical examination?

thanks

Dear Mr Dutta

Congratulations on getting one step closer to immigration process. Are you pre-26Feb 2008 applicant or post feb 2008? Could you kindly share your timeline and AOR please.

As for not being asked to submit passport along with medical and prpf, although it is difficult to predict the reason why cic does so, if you can provide some information on the above question some members may try to interpret the trend.

It is interesting to note that post 26 feb 2008 cases and most of the cases form last quarter of 2003 got the medical, prpf and passport request together, in one letter.

Regards
