Hi Narinder,

Wanted to check with you on the marksheets. Did you submit the transcripts or just the attested xerox copies of your marksheets from your graduation.

I have applied from USA on April 20th -09 and now i have been asked to send the documents within 120 days.
I do have my originals marksheets from my engineering but not the transcripts, can u help me with this doubt.

Also, regarding the proof of funds , I will be sending my bank statements along with other docs but  do  i need to submit this proof of fund at the final visa interview?

I submitted attested xerox copeis of transcripts. And Yes in most cases if your interview is scheduled then you need to show proof of funds.

As per current exp. you should get receit after 2 weeks of submitting your rprf and PP. And for pp we are still waiting. You can speculate that only when one of us get.

HI narinder does this mean rather then sending original transcripts in university e\sealed envelope you have just made attested copies of it and sent it to CHC?
Pls reply as it can save my a lot of time otherwise I need to go to my college and then to uni which is in different state then mine.
Please guide me regarding funds as well that what are acceptable proof pf funds?

can parents and inlaws funds accepted?
Can FD's accpted on my or my parents name?

Has your contract mentioned about the salary that you were getting?
more over is it ok if we don't write salary in that exp letter?
please guide me as it can save me froom going to agent and thus save my hard earned money because CIC itself says that you can do it by urself and putting file in agents hand won't make any difference to its outcome.

PP Request : still waiting

any idea how long it will going to take now as medicals have been done7 months back now

No coolsikh, I havent received any receipt but I just got this information from the bank. I guess all are silently waiting.... me too.

Hi, I have said earlier also that I sent xerox attested copies of transcripts. But as per Appendix A you need to send original in university sealed envelope. Please take decision on your own.
For proof of funds, you need to show your bank balance stateemtns for last 2 monts ( not  your partents) and FD's wont work.
I deposited the required amt (from my father acct.) and it is clearly indicated in the statement that I sent to  but there is no problem with that.
If salary is not shown in your contract then you can ask your employer a reference letter (with salary mentioned in that) or you can probably show the salary statements.
