Dear members,

Since applying for an AEO to Service Canada, and then wait for approval and then applying as FSW is going to take a lot of time (6 - 12 months) i was wondering if it is faster to apply to for a Visit Visa ti Canada and then ask my employer to apply for a work permit for me while i am there?

Do you think this is possible? do you think i can do that without being asked to leave Canada?

Any help or advice is really appreciated.

Thanks.

One problem you can't apply for a work permit in Canada as a visitor.  So you either have to apply at office outside Canada or a border port if you don't require a TRV or Medical.

so i guess visiting the Canada would be only a waste of money... because whether i am here or in Canada i will go through the same process, and nothing will be processed faster. right?
