Dear All;

I am basically from Chennai, India. I am having 6.5 Years of Experience in Investment Accounting and Reinsurance Underwriting Business. I am already holding a Canadian Business Visa, Multiple Entry for a Period of 1 Year.

I am planning to Applying for Canadian PR, by June 2010. I need your advice on the following:

(a) Is applying through a Overseas Consultants like Y-Axis better or not?

(b) If i am applying by myself, where should i need to send in my Docs and What will be the Processing Time?

(c) Additionally if i need to apply for my Fiance after a couple of months, from the date i applied, is it possible for me to add hers as well in my application process.

(d) How Long will it take to get a Canadian PR, if i am targetting in getting jobs in Toronto, Montreal, Vancover and BC.

Please Advise

You Can also send me the details at anandhmadhavan @ aol.com or call me and let me know at +919652544484.

a. Apply your self if you have time and take the help of this forum. Applying through a consultant is just an operational benefit and nothing else.

a. Unless you want someone to worry of the technicalities, but just comply and pray - then I suggest go get a consultant. But it would be best to use your address or office address whichever is best for mailing.

b. Since you're planning for June 2010, then prepare all the documents now. You may start by applying as NOC 1111 (Accountant)

c. submit your fiance as a "common law partner", in Canadian's perspective she's just like a wife to you. Technically in the application forms and all documentation, it is labelled as "souse/common law partner"

d. How long depends on your visa office. Since you're in India, then I'm not sure. They 'processing time' is their processing time, if you opted or have your own reasons to delay your application it becomes longer of course.

I am planning to Applying for Canadian PR, by June 2010. I need your advice on the following:

(a) Is applying through a Overseas Consultants like Y-Axis better or not? : NO NEED OF CONSULTANT

(b) If i am applying by myself, where should i need to send in my Docs and What will be the Processing Time? : NOVA SCOTIA , SEE CIC WEBSITE

(c) Additionally if i need to apply for my Fiance after a couple of months, from the date i applied, is it possible for me to add hers as well in my application process.: YOU CAN ADD HER LATER ON, AS SUGGESTED BY SOMEONE ON THIS FORUM, SHE IS NOT UR COMMON LAW PARTNER- CAUSE SHE IS NOT LIVING WITH U FROM THE LAST 1 YEAR- U WOULD BE HAVING NO JOINT ACCOUNT- NO COMMON UTILITY BILLS- NO RENTAL AGREEMENT

(d) How Long will it take to get a Canadian PR, if i am targetting in getting jobs in Toronto, Montreal, Vancover and BC. : SAME TIME EVERYWHERE IF U APPLY UNDER FSW

Hi All;

Thanks for the Clarifications,

I have few more questions

(a) My Fiance is yet to be decided. As My Parents had started to search for an alliance for me, it will take some months to decide who will be my fiance. Supposing, if i found my better half by september or october 2010, can i add her application as well to my application which i filled on june 2010.

(b) Do i need to show my Financial Balances at the time of landing in Canada.
