My girlfriend lives in NY state and wants to move with me in Ontario.

If she quits her job and comes to visit with me for six months, will they allow this?

Within that six months we will would like to get married in NY.  I will then apply to sponsor her.  At that time, will she be allowed back in Canada?

I'm sure there are many other questions that will come up.

Thanks for any help

A lot of people have done this but maybe they don't actually say they are coming for 6 months and that they don't have a job to go back to.  Immigration always wants to be sure somebody is not thinking of staying for good, at least without getting the proper visa.
