Hi,
I am getting married in Feb, my would be wife has a visitors visa of Canada.

After marriage I am planning to apply PR for my wife from India and when i come back to canada, I would like to bring her with me on her visitors visa.

Would there be any problem if I do so?

Please advise.

Thanks

You can do that. She should be back in India by the time she get a passport request and in case there is an Interview. Any communication from visa office during her absence should be monitored.

Hi All !
I live in Pakistan and my Application for permanent residence is in process since last year .i.e. May 2011. My Husband is a Canadian citizen and is sponsoring me (sponsorship has already been approved). The timeline for Pakistan is 26 months which is way too much... I wanted the advice of all the members here as to what are chances of me applying for visit visa and getting it approved. What kind of proofs do I have to gather in order to get visit visa? FYI, I'm currently working in a insurance company....
Thanks in advance !

1. You can attach a copy of approved sponsorship application and the copy of AOR letter from your visa office.
2. Submit the original employment letter of your company to prove that till date you are an employee.

The intention is to prove that you have strong ties  with your home country and will return while the visiting period is completed.
Granting visa is up to the discretion of the visa officer. But there is always a positive chance. Try for good luck!!

Thanks Wilson for your advice.

Do I need to carry some supporting document, like employment of my wife and some other supporting document suggesting that I have already applied for her PR and she would return back in few months ?

Please advise.

Yes of course  abbyss.
Any documents to prove that she will return to home country should be helpful to satisfy the visa officer. The copy of PR application is also a strong evidence.
