Hi,

Does anyone know how it affects a common-law sponsorship application when you get married during processing? Is it smarter to wait until after receiving PR?

Thanks

you also might have to re apply.. since you won 't be sposoring her under common law anymore, or it can also complicate the process, making it longer...I was told that by a lawyer.. but she also wasn t sure.. I'm not sure.. I was thinking doing that too, but was advised not to, to not complicate things..
