I am applying for PR status from within Canada and went to the local police station who said I need to do it in my home state. Has anyone done the finger prints from within Canada? Or perhaps have any information on this?

I found a fingerprinting service as well that sends it to the RCMP. Can I send it to the FBI as well?

1.  You don't require Canadian prints unless requested, read the instructions.
2.  The Corp of Commissionaires or any other fingerprinting service will do the FBI prints.  It is up to you to send them though as the FBI does not do live prints as yet.

I was merely stating that the place I found only sent them to the RCMP.

Ok perfect, I'll look into this more then.
