Hi
I had applied for a work permit extension in nov 2010 through a consultant. Due to a crazy change of circumstances, I was led to believe a few weeks ago that the consultant hadn't sent the application at all. So to cover lost ground, I sent in a restoration of status as a visitor application and paid the fees as well.
However, yesterday I did end up recieving my work permit extension from cic. My question now is how do i go about withdrawing the restoration application and getting a refund done.
Thanks in advance.

call cic call centre and tell them you wish to cancel; have receipt no on file. allow 16 weeks for refund to be processed.
