I am geting married in canada with my girlfrined then we are filling out the paper work for family class sponsorship does anyone know how long it will take to get aporved if we have all the information neeeded for them and all the test work and stuff. and am i able to go down to canada while the applie is prossessing i wanted to go down this desember because we are geting married in august but i am not sure if i can? can anyone give me any advice

Hi.  It is suppose to take between 3 and 6 months if you file an outland application and could be over one year if you file an inland application.

The outside process time line depends on which office handles your case.  Look at the following table to see how long it'd take.

Bare in mind the time lines do not include the time the sponsor is approved.  For outside cases, they say it takes 30-45 days, but lately it's been less then 30 days.

Outside and inside sponsership what do u mean? because i am guess she sponsering me outside of Canada so that means it outside because she sending it to a USA center? because i am a US citizen so it could take up to 30-45 days depending? :'D right..

Hi.  You can get a pretty good idea by checking out this website   trackitt.com  click on Canada and then click on "Family Class"   It shows cases that have been completed and the times they took.

Thanks for the help so fare that gave some confudence to use about how long it could take before I am sponsered by her as a spouse..
