Hi XXX:

I received a answer on XXX's file today.  His file received a positive decision in Jan. of this year.  The medicals have expired, but he should wait until he is asked to redo them.  They are currently running a enhanced security and background check on him and that will take several months.  Due to the conflict that occurred in his country of origin, they must ensure that he has not committed any crimes that would make him inadmissible to Canada.  They told me to check back on this file in 6 months.

I hope this information is helpful.

Yours Truly,

SO WHAT DO U THINK THIS EMAIL IMPLIES?

It means that he will receive an extensive background check as something most of showed up in his background check.  Depending on his country of origin this can take months. What conflict? Looks like you have a ways to go unfortunately.

Once they finish the background check and they don't find anything bad, they will probably ask for new medicals and that should be it.

Yeah because its Sierra Leone it will take awhile as they have to deal with officials there I'm sure.  Once that is complete.. unfortunately hard to give a timeframe as they can take 6 months or more even depending on the situation and the country, then they will approve you as long as it came up clear.

Approved pending security clearance.  They found the relationship to be genuine and meet the Conjugal Partner category specifications.

I'm sure they have their ways :) It's all top secret stuff ;) lol I hope it goes by fast for you.  The good thing is your relationship is approved and under conjugal as well which is a hard one to get approved in.. Just have to be patient for background check.
