1.  Since you didn't bother to state where you applied, then it is anybodies guess how long.  See: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/international/05-fc-spouses.asp
2.  It will be looked at the same as all other marriages to see that it is genuine.
3.  I assume that you got the approval/refusal from Mississauga?  Or if you are applying in Canada to Vegreville, then it will be a while yet to hear anything as they are processing June 15th
4.  If you want answers you should really tell the story of where you applied.

well im here in canada right now as a visitor applied and we applied for in cnada process ..can u trell me wha they check for genuine relationship?

They check the same way....they need to see photos, letters, conversations (msn, emails), anythign joint? Insurance, accounts? Leases?

It is exactly the same as hetero marriages. The process may take 6 months or 18 months or much more. It all depends if they believe you or not, or if your medicals are passing or not.

wewll thanks . well we have joint a/c and insurance and so many photos and marraige photos and everything but 1 thinkg i want to ask is thatr i was rejected twice for the student visa does this affect my process but i have a visitor visa oveer here

If you have been rejected for student Visa before but then you got it and are now in Canada, then I don't forsee much trouble. HOWEVER, they still will wonder about the validity of your relationship. Meaning, did you marry him/her solely to stay in the country as a Permanent Resident or is it true love or a committed relationship?

Also in your case, apply for an extension to stay in Canada or rather DO NOT let yourself be without a Visa to stay in the country legally.

Also....Really make a strong application ... from the BEGINNING. It may short the process considerably.

no they rejected my student visa but after that i aplplied for visitor visa coz all my uncle family is here  and he sponserde me for visitor visa and i got the visiotr visa .for the student visa refugal the reason they gave me is that u dun have sufficent bank balance and and u dont have sufficent reason to leave canada after completing ur course.regarding our marraige also after 6 months of dating in canada we got marreid so that is also not  LONG PERIOD.

siki there is no need to worry , if you are legally married and have enough evidence to provethen the post  ur relationship which u do have then the post marriage dating if its long or not doesnt matter
as for the fact that u have been refused sudent visa , i think this wont affect ur file since u have got the visitor visa after that , best of luck
