Thats a good news indeed...Looking forward to see some of the effect hopefully from April... But I guess even if all overseas office might have installed and get trained with the new GCMS... it still might take some time to have synchronized operation and effect in place... lets hope for it asap...if it could make any difference in faster processing and clearing of backlogs....

Yes... I agreee

See the comments below:
GCMS is helping CIC move toward an increasingly centralized, integrated and virtual business model. It enhances CIC's reporting capability to assist in detecting fraud. GCMS also lays the foundation to support future business improvements and innovation, such as the introduction of e-services, improved identity management through biometrics and paperless case processing.

Yes thats what I predicted. Although introduction of E cas services might be on its way but for the later aimed targets like improved identity management through biometrics will take relatively more times so we need to wait for expecting a fully served system to put in place.... but anyway it certainly a development already initiated and going on target to lead our hope forward...

It was easier than that - no government sanctioned software is ever on time (or complete, or on budget) Smiley
