Hi Guri, after how many days did you submit the passport after the medical furtherance test (sputum tests and chest x-ray). I am asking this question since I applied for a visitor visa and CHC asked me to attend medical furtherance. I went to the DMP and he suggested me to get the sputum test and the mantaoux test. I completed the tests on April 19 but the DMP asked me to wait for 8 weeks before the reports can be submitted. Any idea why should I wait for 8 weeks for the sputum test report?
hi you have to wait for 8 weeks bcoz sputum smear and culture test usally take long time and it is done to investigate T.B thats why you have to wait for test report after that chc will issue you visa if u clear all med test |

Hi Guri, my mantoux test result showed the reading as 6 mm and the DMP said that this is normal and nothing to worry but said that I have to wait for the result of the sputum test..are you aware of this mantoux test?

hi yes i am aware of this test..it is done to test t.b , in this injection is ejected in ur arm and after some hours they record the reading of swallen area with the scale.... |

today i chest speclist declared that i am fully fit no symptom of T.B and he said you dont need to take any medical test but i am vry tensd that if chc doctor again sent me leeter for some medical test than i will be late for sptmbr intake also...

Guri, I think you have already done your additional medicals and only after this is the DMP has cleared you of any disease. So CHC wil have not other choice rather than to go ahead with that report. so I think, everything will be fine for you. By the way, when was ur addiitonal medical report mailed to CHC?

CHC wants Chest specialist report to rule out TB. If chest specialist thinks you are ok then don't worry at all, additional tests are the secondary things. The thing which matters is the chest specialist report.................. |

hi chc asked me to take some x-rays but not any further medical test and yesterday chest speclst said that i dont need to go under any med test and he said you are ok no T.B and he also said he will himself forward ma reports to embassy....and i think may took 7 to 10 days |

I think they should not take much time now as far as your case is concerned , no i think docs are verified once and then medical is issued ........... |
