Hi all,

We are planning to come to Edmonton by the end of Jan 2011 and settle there as landed immigrants. We would like to live in a furnished accommodation for a week or so and then find an apartment of our taste and ensuring security in the place. I have been continuously visiting various web sites for renting an apartment such as kijiji, craigslist, rentalberta, homerent etc. We would welcome any advice for a two bed furnished accommodation for a week or two in west or south-west area, preferably with a public senior high school nearby.

Regards,

Hi Steaky,

You asked a question instead of a helping reply. There must have been solid reasons for deciding the place of settlement in Canada like Alberta's growing economy, tax structure and better jobs opportunities suitable for me.

My original question is still open to all and request for more relevant replies. Thanks in advance.
