This is an Email I received from Canada Post today for the application sent by Next Am Delivery on Aug 5, 2011 and was delivered on Aug 11, 2011..I had raised an issue on Aug 8, 2011 for the delayed delivery and they told me  that the matter will be investigated. ( No matter how long it takes to deliver my Next AM delivery Express post)..

Now the question here is what if my application package was lost somewhere and they took a month for their investigation.

After investigating the matter, we have confirmed that the item was delivered on the date shown below.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience you may have been caused.

Canada post sucks! I sent international package as well and it got there later than 2 weeks. They kept saying that sometimes things are held by Customs at the other counrty and that can take however long it takes. They cant do anything about it. I will use FEDEX or DHL next time if I ever had to use it again.

I agree... No Canada post next time...spend some more money for other services but you ll be assured that item will be delivered on time...

My appli package was held at the local post office ( I dn't know if they perform custom check  for within the country posts too.. Cheesy Smiley)/.. and mine was from the same province and same city  Shocked

By the way I believe that employees are also aware of it ...it is the system that sucks...Employees are good shamsia  Cheesy Cheesy....

He knows that Canada Post's service is bad! Our own application package reached Mississauga from Ottawa 3 days later!  Angry We used the Priority Next a.m service AND I nagged him to wear his Canada Post badge AND I nagged him some more to walker straighter and taller like he owns the company! Did it work? No Grin

A good friend of mine works for CP and she told me after they were forced back to work... the union came in and told them to be late with the mail. To bring mail back as if they were overloaded.

They also said they were giving them another hour in the morning to prepare for the over load. Well the union told them to just drink coffee during that hour.

My friend refused. She came in the same time and delivered all her mail and was only done about a half hour later than normal.

So it is definitely not ALL the workers... some for sure but not all... and it is not the employees making these demands .. it is the unions.
